WHAT I DO

I work with my clients around the clock in order to help them achieve their goals. When you first start working with me I will arrange to have a chat with you about what you would like to get out of personal training. From there I will get you to answer a couple of questions based on your lifestyle and goals. I will then work with you to form a plan on how we can best achieve the goals you are after. I am a trainer who likes my clients to know I am always there even when we are not training together, this means you can chat with me as much or as little as you want away from our sessions. My reasons for this are for times like when you might want to fit another workout in and are unsure of when or what to do, I can help. Or if you are stuck on how to plan your nutrition around a race, again I can help! I train clients one to one in a gym, at your home, or via facetime/zoom. I also offer group or couples sessions. If you are focused on a goal such as a triathlon, your first 5km, a marathon/half marathon or just want a plan for your general overall fitness I also provide online coaching. I create personalised plans and also use Training Peaks and True Coach as tools to track progress.  I am with you every step of the way and like my clients to know that they can message me about programmes and training at all times, fitness shouldn't feel like a slog and my aim is to make the process easy and enjoyable.

 ENDURANCE TRAINING 

Whether it's your first 5km, training for a triathlon, or you are keen to hit a new PB, endurance training is something I have been doing most of my life and therefore have a lot of experience with. I have made mistakes and learned from them, I have experienced highs and lows, each time this has taught me something new and I am able to use my experience to benefit my clients.

DAY TO DAY TRAINING

I believe training should be enjoyable and something you look forward to in your day. Making it a habit and part of you is something I am keen to help with. Even if it's 10 minutes of your day it's better than nothing. I train my clients around their lifestyles working on an individual basis to find out what works best for them and their needs. 

ONLINE TRAINING

I offer both online plans as well as facetime/zoom sessions to my clients. I know people can be put off at the idea of an online PT session, however, you would be surprised at how effective they can be. It also does not require you to have loads of equipment at home. The other great part of online sessions means that you can take me wherever you go. 

The fitness industry is ever-changing and can be a mine field in terms of knowing what is best and what could work for you. Quite often one of the biggest things missing in personal training is that it isn’t personal. This is something I am determined to do with my clients. Coming from a sporting background I worked with coaches in order to get to the top level of my sport and that takes feedback, and criticism both bad and good in order to get to where you want to go. 

I like my clients to give me feedback and I work with them to make sure they are happy with the service I am providing but also feel they are getting somewhere with their training. This doesn’t always need to be physical, the mental release from training can go a long way in terms of setting up your day. 

 

My mission is to get clients exercising pain-free in a safe environment whilst learning the benefits of strength training. From working with me I hope you achieve your goals but also exceed them as you move through your fitness journey.
